“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16

In all things our role is to come along side the Worship Team and provide the Church Body a Worship environment aesthetically pleasing as Praise and opening of our hearts to our Abba Father. Here are the current roles within this ministry:

  • ‣ Recording Tech: Sunday morning Video recording of messages (P/U, and message)
  • ‣ OBS Streaming Software Technician / Digital Content Creator: updating Social media and adding the weekly Church Rumble videos to the site, along with being flexible to create digital images for fresh content, and being responsible as a Sound Mixing Technician for the Online streaming Audio.
  • ‣ FOH (Front of House) Sound Technicians: Setting up the stage for every church event and special events, serving the Worship Team’s needs so they can adequately serve the Body of Christ in a Praise and Worship setting, troubleshooting any intermittent air impedance gaps (AKA un-plugged cables) and coordinating with worship leaders to be available for worship practices.
  • ‣ Projection Technician: Receiving a list of worship songs from the worship leader and inputting them into slides for use in worship, taking attendance of the entire church body, and being flexible with creating or getting PowerPoints / videos ready to present on the overhead projectors.
  • ‣ Website Developer/ Social Media Content Creator

SOUND/MEDIA/IT MINISTRY LEADER

James Richards III

James Richards 3 was born and raised in Wichita, Ks, by James 2 and Teresa Richards. Pastor Don Duncan married my parents and dedicated me as a baby. We attended Calvary Chapel Hillside, the first Calvary Chapel in Wichita that Don Duncan established.

Then, we started going to Cornerstone Fellowship Church where my dad got me involved in helping set up the stage and tear it down weekly at the age of 7. By the time I was 12, I was helping regularly with the sound ministry.

In my later teen years I fell away and started exploring the world, and making some poor decisions. I was confronted about my sin, but I was not ready to deal with it at the time and left the church to avoid the issue.

I went back to my parent’s church, Calvary Chapel Fellowship, and a short time after was preparing for my first child, Amaris. Pastor Wayne Cash confronted me in a very helpful way with Christ’s grace and after Biblical premarital counseling, Samantha and I married were married.

James 3 has been serving in the Sound, Media, and IT Ministries since 2018, now has three beautiful blessings from God.

“You create the environment / set the tone for people to encounter Christ.”
