INTRODUCING YOU TO OUR CHURCH

We Welcome You!

Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Wichita is a warm, welcoming assembly of folks who love God, and/or are seeking to know God.

We are a casual contemporary gathering that is more interested in the state of your heart than the clothes on your back.

Our worship services includes instrumental/praise music. The praise teams never seek to call attention to themselves or put on a show. They are there to lead us to the Throne.

We are a big believer in the fellowship of the saints!

Koinonia is a transliterated form of the Greek word κοινωνία, which refers to concepts such as fellowship, joint participation, the share which one has in anything, a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution.

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching.”

-Hebrews 10:25

You will mostly find us in casual, seasonal attire. (Don’t be suprised to find our Pastor in sandals, even in the wintertime.)

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable, so that you can focus on Christ.

Our children’s program and youth group are growing by leaps and bounds. We are excited to welcome your children, and provide:

  • Children’s Church (Ages 5-12)
  • Youth Group (Ages 13-18)

When you arrive, ask one of the greeters where these rooms are.

Nursing moms and babies through age four are welcome in the nursery room. Ask anyone where this room is. Parents are also welcome to keep their baby with them in the worship service.

Pastor Wayne is happy to meet with you by appointment for biblical interpretive life coaching. Email Wayne for an appointment.

We do not require masks to be worn. If you feel better wearing a mask, feel free to do so. Either way, you are part of the Beloved.

Baptisms are always times of celebration and joy. Currently, we hold baptisms at the 101 Club, which is an outdoor recreation center located at 2206 E 101st St N, Valley Center, KS 67147.

If you, or your child, are interested in baptism, please speak to one of our elders, or the pastor, prior to the event. Note dates on our events page.

God continues to provide everything that this ministry is led to do in accordance with His Word. Nor formal offering or accosting for cash has been, or will ever be, done. (Philippians 4:19, 2 Cor 9:7) Because we believe that the right hand and the left hand shouldn’t know what is done, we supply an offering box at the back of the sanctuary, or you can give online here.

We believe the ecclesia is made up of broken vessels that come together for encouragement, exhortation, and koinonia. We welcome you to come as you are, being confident that the Lord will meet you in this place.

We are a un-denominational church that is biblio-centric. Neither Reformed nor Arminianist, though at the same time being parts of both. We believe in the total sovereignty of God while holding to the real freedom and responsibility of man. In other words, we try to study the Bible with an open mind rather than seeing each passage through a predetermined doctrinal filter, and allow Scripture to interpret Scripture.
