Youth-Group

We believe that the fellowship should be a safe place for young people to come and abide under the shadow of the Almighty God. We are designed to be a fun and age-appropriate environment for youth ages 11-18 to meet and learn about Jesus.

Our Objectives

Teach, correct, train in righteousness, and equip young people through the teaching of God’s Word.
Provide opportunities for young persons to come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Provide opportunities for young believers who are experiencing God’s love in their lives to share that love with others.
Provide an environment where young people can enter into true fellowship with God through Jesus Christ, and with other like-minded believers.

  • “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

How you can support our youth:

  • Come alongside our ministry financially.
  • Provide chaperone services during camps and retreats.
  • Provide transportation for our youth to camps, retreats and youth conferences.

YOUTH LEADER

Gary Lang

Gary was raised in a Catholic home and attended elementary parochial school. He grew up knowing about Jesus but never really grasped the depths of God’s love through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Gary spent years trying to find joy in partying and drugs. It wasn’t until spending a few months in a county jail that God was able to draw Gary into a personal relationship with His Son.

Gary accepted the call at Calvary Chapel Fellowship in 2011, later God gave Gary a passion to reach the incarcerated with the message of God’s love with the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. In 2012 Gary began serving inside Correctional Facilities to teach God’s Word. He currently services as a worship leader and servant elder at Calvary Chapel Fellowship as well as serving the needs of the  Central Kansas Prison Ministry.

“Young people, you must pray for your passions are strong and your wisdom is little.”

Charles Spurgeon
