Men, the Apostle Paul exhorted the men in the church at Corinth to “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.” (1 Cor. 16:13-14). Let us be men who desire to do just that…Men who are on guard against sin and temptation, men who desire to stand firm with unwavering faith, men who won’t fear the schemes of the devil, men who find great strength in trusting Jesus, and men who can love by the power the Holy Spirit. Let us strive to be these kind of men; men that impact their families, the church and the world!
“Men’s Ministry” is a term that drives many men full-speed in the opposite direction! Why? Here are a few possible reasons: A man’s pride tells him to journey alone. A man’s heart tells him to remain quiet. A man’s mind tells him nobody will understand. A man’s emotions tell him to keep it under control. Let us assure you, great gain comes when you show up and commit to something difficult, bigger than you and God-centered.
