Walker Russell – Elder

Walker Grew up in Derby Ks, graduating from Derby High in 1991.  He went on to Wichita State University and Study Business.

Walker found the Lord in 1991 in FCA in his High School baseball coach’s house at an FCA meeting.  He really came to the Lord in 1992 when he met his soon to be wife Carla Duncan, as she was a Pastors daughter.  He started going to Calvary Chapel in 1993 and was led by Pastor Don Duncan.  In 1994 Walker was baptized with his wife in Lake Afton by Pastor Don and Pastor Mike Parks.  He became an elder in 2018 and he took on a calling from God to help lead our youth group in January of 2019.  He believes in being baptized and the power of Prayer and loving all people. 

 Walker was married to Carla Duncan in June of 1994 and has three children.  He enjoys family time, sports, and all things “Derby”.
