1. Expect to be greeted and welcomed

Our fellowship is more of a growing family than a warehouse of faces. (Acts 2:42)

2. Expect worship that is contemporary but devotional

Do not expect a rock concert… Any showmanship that takes away from the object of worship takes away from the Object of our worship. (Psalm 66)

3. Expect to pray

We know as we pray and open our hearts to God, His desire is to meet our deepest spiritual needs. The churches greatest need is to pray. Lord, teach us how to pray! (Luke 11:1, 1 Tim 2, Matt 21:13)

4. Expect to use your Bibles

We teach in an expositionary fashion through the books of the Bible. We see this pattern demonstrated through the OT and NT (Nehemiah 8, Acts 20:27, Luke 24:27,44-45) As we look at scripture in context, we easily see why God gave us whole books and thoughts to clarify and confirm His Word.

5. Expect God to meet you through Bible teaching

We understand in the gift of the Holy Spirit being exercised through the teaching of the Word of God. (John 16:13) If you have an open heart to the Lord…He will speak. (1 Cor 12:7-8, 1 Cor 14:3, Romans 12:6-7)

6. Expect to be challenged

Much of God’s Word is exhortative. He loves us too much to keep us the way that we are! To grow in Christ we must die to ourselves!

(Heb 13:13, Heb 10:25, Heb 12:2, Heb 13:22)

7. Expect a search for the offering box

God has provided everything that this ministry has ever been led to do in accordance with His Word. Nor formal offering or accosting for cash has or will ever be done. (Philippians 4:19, 2 Cor 9:7)

8. Expect to hear the gospel

It is the power of God unto salvation (Rom 1:16). There is a literal heaven and hell (Mark 9:42, Rev 20:14). Resurrection to life (John 6:40) and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:2). Jesus is the only way (John 14:6).

9. Expect to hear a lot about Jesus!

The whole book was written about Him (Luke 24:27,44-45). He is the Mighty God, Mediator, Savior, Counselor, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Jesus (Yehoshua) is our ultimate example.

10. Expect to love God, His Word, and His people

As we grow in the knowledge of Christ through His Holy Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit…we will have a love for the precepts of God (Psalm 119:15), for the people of God (John 13:35) and for the will of God (Heb 10:7,9).
